About The Kagan Open Troop

The Kagan Open Troop is a vibrant scouting community dedicated to empowering young people through leadership development, outdoor adventure, and community service.

Our program provides a structured and supportive environment where youth develop essential life skills such as responsibility, teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Through practical experiences and guided mentorship, members learn to overcome challenges and grow into capable leaders who make positive contributions to society.

At The Kagan Open Troop, scouting is more than just outdoor activities. It is a journey that shapes character, strengthens values, and builds lifelong friendships. We believe that every young person has the potential to lead, serve, and inspire others when given the right opportunities and guidance.

To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Through mentorship, outdoor education, leadership training, and service projects, we equip our members with the skills and character needed to become responsible citizens and future leaders.
To create a vibrant youth-led movement that becomes a cornerstone of the community, producing citizens who are not only skilled in the outdoors but are also the first to step up and lead in times of need. We envision a generation of young people who demonstrate courage, integrity, responsibility, and service in everything they do.
